Learning How PEMF Therapy Fights Breast Cancer Safely and Effectively

Learning more about how PEMF therapy fights breast cancer means learning how it actually works. The basis of this therapy is natural, and it cannot get more natural than duplicating the earth’s electromagnetic fields.

Every cell has its own electromagnetic field as well, but when this becomes disrupted, the structure of that cell changes. Damaged cells allow free radicals to creep in, and that means cancer, disease, and illness of all types.

The earth’s natural rhythm is supported by this electromagnetic field. This natural energy or rhythm is what supports the natural cycle of life, including the circadian rhythm or sleep cycle, and other systems that affect the body.

Dr. Pawluk, a medical doctor and a leading expert in PEMF therapy studied research that was performed on mice with breast cancer, making discoveries that can forever change the way we look at how cancer is being treated, and what defines a “cure”.

Today, the medical community agrees that after 5 years, when one has achieved a long-term period of remission, that this is deeBreast Cancer Logomed as a “cure” by physicians. While not ALL physicians may agree with this premise, it is important to note that cancer is considered a chronic illness.

This means that using various therapies, whether conventional or holistic are typically a lifelong journey to wellness.

The frustration has continued to mount for those who have lost loved ones to cancer while raising money for research continues. Many patients fail to live past 5 years, 10, or even longer depending upon the type of cancer and the modalities used to treat it.

Again, the position of this article is not to say that PEMF therapy is a cure for cancer, although studies show tremendous promise. The research will continue, but at this point in time, there is a lot of evidence to support the idea that PEMF therapy can wage the all-important war against cancer as well as prevent it.*

Here is what we know:

  1. All patients respond differently to ANY treatment. This means that some therapies are effective but perhaps they could be improved?
  2. Natural treatments are noted as great complimentary therapies. This means that PEMF therapy and other holistic therapies are a great compliment to the current treatment plan. These therapies should not be considered a replacement for the current treatment plan.*
  3. If chemotherapy damages the good cells and the cancer cells, but PEMF therapy only works to repair damaged cells and it enhances good cells, what is the harm in trying it?This is the million dollar question when it comes to using PEMF therapy for cancer.*
  4. The choice is still up to the individual.Nothing good comes from any treatment, idea, or medicine being forced down someone’s throat. Taking the position of allowing individuals to research for themselves, and helping them make an informed decision is best. When the facts have been presented, and this means FACTS not notions, then and only then do you have a better chance of getting an individual to see your point of view.
  5. Conventional methods are widely accepted because they are deemed approved by society and they are traditional methods of healing in North America. This is true. Consider that we really have not used medicine in any other way. In America, we get sick and we call the doctor. When the doctor decides we are sick they prescribe medication. We are given the hope that the medicine will make it all better, and we walk out feeling as though we have a solution to the problem. We are not conditioned to first consider herbs, vitamins, minerals, or any other natural therapy as a concrete way of healing. Medications always win the day here.
  6. PEMF therapy has never worsened anyone’s condition.* There have not been any cases reported in which PEMF therapy has made someone’s condition worse.*
  7. PEMF therapy has been shown to stimulate the body down to the cellular level.*This means that PEMF therapy has been shown to stimulate nerves, tissues, bones, blood vessels, and the cells.* With a source of natural healing so effective and far reaching, is it possible that this could be the answer?

There is a lot still to learn about PEMF therapy and how it works. Studies show that the earlier this therapy is used the better the chances of survival.* Generally, low frequency is best, but when working with cancer cells, it could call for a higher intensity to get the job done.*

Studies have been done using ranges of 20 to 50 Hz as well as how PEMF’s react with cancer cells and normal cells. Exposure times are also important, as well as the actual signal strength.

Here are the details as noted on Dr. Pawluk’s website.

In a new study, the authors studied the potential for ultra-low intensity and frequency PEMFs to kill breast cancer cells. They wanted to see if the PEMFs in question could show: 1) toxicity to breast cancer cells and; 2) and they were not harmful to healthy cells. Breast cancer cells and normal cells were exposed to PEMFs and cell death indices were measured to determine which PEMFs best kill breast cancer cells. The PEMF parameters tested were: 1) frequencies ranging from 20 to 50 Hz; 2) intensities ranging from 2 mT (20 Gauss) to 5 mT (50 Gauss) and; 3) exposure times ranging from 30-90 minutes per day for up to three days. These were to determine the optimum parameters for selective cancer cell killing. At the end of the study they found a discrete optimal window of vulnerability of breast cancer cells to PEMFs of 20 Hz frequency, 3 mT (30 Gauss) magnetic field intensity and exposure duration of 60 minutes per day. PEMFs applied at a repetition rate of 50 Hz did not produce any noticeable effects on cell viability. The amount of cell damage seen in response to PEMFs increased with time and was even more significant after three days of consecutive daily exposures. By contrast, the optimal PEMF usage found to be the most damaging to breast cancer cells was not damaging to normal cells, and were in fact slightly enhancing to normal cell function.* However, based on the evidence from this study, other exposure times (that is, 90 minutes) and intensities 2 mT and 5 mT) were still very strongly effective for killing breast cancer cells, even though not optimal.* That means that 20 Gauss and 50 Gauss PEMFs were also quite effective and both 60 minutes and 90 minute exposures were also effective.”*

These studies give us a peek into how strong this therapy really is, and just how much it can improve the life of the cancer patient. The goal is ALWAYS to focus on what produces a positive outcome.

Now that you have learned more about how PEMF therapy fights breast cancer, are you ready to learn more about it and how you can enhance your journey to wellness?

It goes without saying that PEMF therapy can gently and safely penetrate breast tissue with success.* It isn’t painful and there are no known adverse reactions reported.*

Most patients that give us feedback on the OMI mat for various types of cancer suggest that they have improved quality of life as the result of using this therapy.

They report more energy, better sleep, and improved reports from their doctors. Those who are in late stages of cancer may not get maximum results, but perhaps they may live for extended periods.* The results will vary for each individual.

The goal is to improve your quality of life, help you feel better as you fight the good fight, and most importantly, our hope is that you do see cancer cells being repaired as you multiply new and healthier cells.

PEMF therapy has been shown to boost the immune system as well as enhance performance for athletes and active individuals.* These results support that there isn’t anything to lose.

*Results may vary by patient and treatment.
